error in process filter: unreachable code, this can't happen

I get the above error when trying to use xslt on some pages. Here is
the output in my message buffer:

Other urls seem fine.

Here is a backtrace:

The error message seems to come from w3-parse.el in the defun
w3-slow-parse-buffer. This defun is _long_. I really can't follow what
is happening here.

Since this seems to happen when using xslt, I posted here first. Should
I instead notify the w3 maintainer?
